This app was prototyped in early 2021 for a brief around allowing SME's to quickly perform a credit check from a mobile app. It was an exercise in rapid mid-fidelity UI prototyping, so the end outcome is rough and took 2 days to complete in its entirety.
Initially, I pulled together some quick background research into similar FinTech services like OnDeck and Prospa. I then looked into similar apps in the space and the sorts of questions they were asking. Throwing together a quick UI kit was ultimately a good use of time too, as it allowed me to rapidly shift around the prototype. Ultimately I achieved a mid-fidelity prototype, with 2 of the screens designed in higher fidelity. In this sense, it was a good exercise in teaching myself how to not dwell on concepts and move onto the next stage.
Since this provided value and was an interesting one, I plan on continuing this project; going further into the competitor research, building out a more comprehensive UI kit, and putting together more detailed prototypes
